Required fields for approval and an export ban

We have added two small settings for the call center. The first will not let an order be confirmed until the required fields are filled in, and the second will hide the quick order export button for a team.

Required fields for approval

In the offer settings, next to the custom fields, there is now a “Required for approve” list. Select everything an order cannot be confirmed without: name, phone, e-mail, country, index, region, city, street, address, comment, price, cost or warehouse (the goods must be in stock). Your own custom fields can be made required too: add the [reqapp] parameter to the field description.

The check runs when an operator confirms an order or moves it to hold. If something is not filled in, the empty fields are highlighted and the form is not submitted until they are filled in. Confirming on a wing and a prayer is over.

Export ban

In the team settings, in the “Access settings” block, there is now a “Hide orders export button” checkbox. While it is ticked, the team's staff have no quick export button in the order list, and export via a direct link will not work either. The setting is separate for each team. The database can no longer be carried off in a single click.

Important! A zero “Price” or “Cost” counts as not filled in, and “Warehouse” is checked only when warehouse accounting is enabled. Also, do not make a field required if it is hidden from the operator: they will not be able to fill it in.
